Jess and Avalanche arrived in our care over 4 years ago having NEVER spent time in a home or with humans, they were nicknamed the 'ferral girls' as they could not be handled by people. They are approaching 12 years of age and STILL cannot be walked on lead, depsite 4 years of living in a home which means they are almost impossible to rehome.

The girls currently live with our founder, Heather, who they have created a FANTASTIC bond and understanding with but still do now like to be stroked by humans! Moving them to a new home at their age wouldn't be an advantage for the girls so we have decided to keep them in as perimant foster dogs to SSDR.
